Russell “RB” Brown is a driving force of Magnolia Express. In addition to guitar and vocals, he’s written or collaborated in writing Magnolia’s original material.  

RB is a big DEADHEAD and also a lover of southern music-especially acoustic mountain music.
 
With 50 years of musical experience, RB began to shift his focus towards jamgrass in 2016. He joined HoneyWood, an Atlanta based jamgrass band and later became the "Conductor" of Magnolia Express.  Rb also continues to play with Atlanta's Flying Oatsmen.
